The Secret Trek of Ladakh: Changthang Valley | Kharnak

I, Abhinandan, went to Ladakh in the year 2016 for the first time. I was 17 years old and I immediately fell in love with the place and its people. Back then, my ultimate goal as a photographer was to photograph the snow leopard but that was not possible without the help and support of my Ladakhi friends. I had already been living in Ladakh for an year with the locals when a friend, Tsering Dorlak, asked me to join him on this remote and hidden trek. What follows is a 160KM long arduous and extreme adventure journey from Changthang towards Zanskar. We walked over the same thousands of year old trails that have been used by THE HIMALAYAN NOMADS : The Silk Route.
