Το τοπίο είναι τόσο ήρεμο και ήσυχο με τον ήχο των πουλιών από τα δέντρα πάνω να δημιουργεί ένα υπέροχο "soundtrack". Ξαφνικά, ένα βουητό σπάει τη σιωπή του πρωινού. Μια Δ/Η ADtranz επικεφαλής της πρώτης αμαξ/χίας ΙC για Θεσσαλονίκη εμφανίζεται στην καμπύλη στην είσοδο του σταθμού τους Ασωπού. Το τρένο περνά και ήρθε η ώρα να μπούμε στο πανέμορφο και μαγευτικό ομώνυμο φαράγγι. Ο άνθρωπος αισθάνεται τόσο μικρό καθώς θαυμάζει το μεγαλείο της φύσης και την ικανότητα των εργατών που κατασκεύασαν αυτή τη θεαματική γραμμή μέσα από τα βράχια και πάνω από τους απόκρημνους γκρεμούς. Αυτό είναι το «Μονοπάτι των Σιδηροδρομικών» και το φαράγγι του Ασωπού ποταμού... English: Sunrise over Fthiotis in central Hellas. The first light reveals the eternal rocks and the beautiful Spring nature "wakes up". The landscape is so peacful and quiet with the sound of birds from the trees above creating a superb "soundtrack". Suddenly, a hum breaks the silence of the morning. An ADtranz loco in chrage of the first IC to Thessaloniki appears in the curve at the entrance of Assopos station. The train passes and it's time to enter the gorgeous and breathtaking gorge of Assopos. The man feels so small as he admires the greatness of nature and the knack of the Railroad workes who built this fascinating line through the rocks and over the steep cliffs. This is the magic of the "Railroadmen's Path" in the gorge of Assopos river...
