In today’s video we head to the bins to get the dryer fired up and decide to harvest some corn with the Gleaner S97. The original plan was to go straight to soybean harvest but a heavy fog made us change plans and harvest corn first. Once we fill up the wet storage bin we get the Claas Lexion out and try some soybeans only to discover that they are to wet. To eat some time while waiting on the beans I bring the gleaner to the spot where our new shop is going to be build. I harvested the spot so we can do some dirt work in the future. That was by far the wettest corn I have ever attempted with a Gleaner combine at 30%. Dad and I eventually move back to the corn field we started the day at and finish it off at dark.
