Teignmouth Golf Club is justifiably proud of its heritage. The course was designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1924, some 9 years before he completed his most famous work at the Augusta National, home of the US Masters. Teignmouth’s course is situated near to the South Devon coast and, at 800 feet above sea level, it commands spectacular views of the sea and nearby moors. The 18 hole moorland links presents a great test of golf for players of all abilities. Features include six varied and challenging par 3s and no fewer than 11 two-tier greens, a true MacKenzie trademark. The club has a magnificent clubhouse with views of the Teign estuary and out to sea. Our bar and restaurant is the perfect location for coffee, light lunch or meal prepared by our expert chef and served by our attentive staff. We also offer dedicated spaces in our clubhouse for both small and large groups of up to 120 seated or 150 standing for meetings, functions, events, weddings or parties. A fully stocked professional's shop with Trackman coaching and custom fitting studio and popular golf academy offers coaching opportunities from beginner to advanced player.
