I think it's funny that expensive phones & watches don't include a power brick adapter. Really??

I recently bought an apple watch. It was a gift for my dad. To my dismay... I didn't have a USB-C power brick.. which isn't common. I have a ton of USB-A power bricks. Long story short... how come all of these fancy expensive electronic devices like apple watches, iphones, even android smartphones... can't even ship you with everything you need to operate your device!? Well. it's obvious they want to reduce shipping (not to help mother earth) but to save a few bucks here and there. REALLY? My brother just spent $1000 on a samsung fold... and it doesn't include a USB-C power brick. All iphones have no power brick? Just seems ridiculous to me. I know.. in 5-10 years it will be different. Still though.. can't help but call all of these companies cheap.
