First time pulling a trailer! 😱 Watch and see how it goes! 👀 September 7th 2024

Pulling my new to me Bunkhouse camper for the first time. I was a little nervous at first because I had no idea how it was going to feel. Turns out you hardly know it's back there. I really don't know why I decided to get one of these campers. I was just fine sleeping in my tent. But I had started a project about a year ago of building a camper which is about half way finished. I thought it would be nice to have one when I traveled with my family because they have campers, we could just pull over wherever we could find a good spot and sleep. You can't do that with a tent safely. So anyway I started thinking about one of these campers because I would have more room. But it is still a tent basically, just a glorified one that costs a lot more. 🙂 I still plan on finishing my other camper someday. And.... I will still use a tent when I travel and camp on my dual sport bike. I always like to get or do something special around my Birthday so I guess a camper is the present this year. I had hoped to have a Trike, Can-Am or even a side car by now so the camper would be safer to pull. That's probably not going to happen anytime soon since the economy has killed my savings. So me and Tweety Bird will have to make this work safely. I am very happy with it so far! I have slept in it in the driveway a couple nights, and I definitely need a better mattress. A 2" mattress is just not going to work for me. It did come with an add on room so that will be nice, I can stand up in it and have a place to sit if it's raining or too sunny. I am having a hard decision right now! Do I ride my Honda 300L Rally to West Virginia to finish the MABDR that I started last year? (I just spent $1000 on a new suspension for it) so I kinda feel like I should ride it. Or do I ride Tweety and take Tweety's Nest and go to Maine for fall colors?
