This contingent despite the fact that I said above, is good at concept-thinker. But their performance tonight proved that the one year they didn't join the Sinulog Grand Parade give us this eye-catching performnce. A performance that is so hard to forget! I really don't know how to place these Sinulog-Based Contingents in ranking. Their entrance, their drama, their concept caught me yet the dancers' entrance was so Kulturang Placereno even the musicality but really, their musicality is way better than Placereno. The build-up of their concept was there until there's no ending for the mother and son or they did it intended to give justice to the concept as what was seen to their first and front backdrop which is for me a big "NO" like don't give the judges and spectators the concept you are up with but nonetheless, I promise you Panglao did grow! Since Cebu City cannot hold the annual festival, let us reminisce with this winning performance of Kulturang Panglaoanon of Panglao, Bohol that bagged the following: *Fourth Place for Sinulog Based Category for ritual Showdown *Fourth Place for Street Dancing *Second Place for Best in Musicality.
