Dreo Tower Fan Unboxing and Review - It is a Great Fan But...

Hello everyone, You just saw the introduction for the newest Dreo Tower Fan which we are going to unbox right now. In the box, you will find an instruction manual, 5 years warranty card, and a quick start guide. The base is in this circle shape and it is very easy to install which you will see in a moment. Finally, there is a tower fan which is protected very well so it is will not be damaged during the shipping. Of course, it comes with a remote control which has preinstalled battery so you can start using it immediately. Something very important to mention is that this device operates only with 120V volts hence it is compatible with the United States, Canada, and a couple of other countries which you can see on the screen. The cable will come with a fuse built-in in the cable which is very useful to protect the device. Now let`s install the base, just keep two base halves in a crossed position, then insert them into slots until it clicks together. Then run the cord through the center hole. Once done, fit the base onto the bottom of the fan by aligning the arrows on the underside. Rotate the base clockwise to lock it in place. Finally, you can see a dedicated path for the cord so you can thread the cable through the rear cord keepers before putting the fan upright. Remove all the protective foils and the fan is ready to work. On the top it has a touch screen control panel with a very nice bright LED display. Both display and remote control are very intuitive for usage so you will easily get used to change the fan speed, mode, timer, or oscillation. This particular model has 4 levels for fan speed and the sleep timer can go up to 8 hours. It has four modes of work, normal, natural, sleep, and auto mode. For example, in the sleep mode, it will be extra quiet as every 30 minutes it will decrease the speed level until it reaches level 1. Auto mode will adjust the speed according to the ambient temperature so this is the best for normal usage. The oscillation button will change the airflow direction up to 120 degrees. It creates wind speed up to 26 ft/s feet per second which is around 0.3m/s meters per second. You can see here how powerful it is while still remaining silent. Inside it, there is a massive impeller wheel that contains 210 blades carefully designed to maximize the airflow while still having low turbulence noise. It is important to note that this is not an air conditioner. So if you are somewhere like me in the United Arab Emirates where temperatures go above 45 Celsius degrees it will be good to combine this tower with a separate AC unit. However, if you don`t have AC, you can place a bucket of ice in front of the fan and that will give you an extra cooling boost. What I like about this device is that it is very easy to set up, it has a nice modern design, it does not take a lot of space in the room, and it is safe for the kids because the blades are hidden inside the tower fan so they cannot get hurt like in the traditional fans. In addition, the motor of the fan is on the bottom of it, which makes it very stable and not easy to turn over. On the other hand, what I don`t like is that it works only on 120 volts so if you want to use it in other countries you will need to buy a voltage converter and these are not cheap so it is not feasible to buy this converter only because of this fan. I hope the company will start producing the 220 volts versions so they can ship to the majority of the countries because around 80% of the countries in the world are using 220 up to 240 volts.
