Please let me know if you are not able to access the closed captions :) I know there aren't many videos that show the inside of RIT dorms for potential students, so I wanted to share what my double looked like in Ellingson Hall. I had a suite-style double, which meant that there was three rooms total in my suite, and the three rooms all shared a private bathroom (this is not the case for all of RIT's Residence Halls). From what I've noticed, many of the rooms in Ellingson Hall are set up differently and my room layout certainly wasn't what I expected on move-in day. When considering which Residence Hall you want to live in at RIT, it's important to note that Ellingson Hall and Peterson Hall include many Deaf and hard of hearing students, as well as ASL/English interpreting students like myself; in other words, the majority of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) students are housed in Ellingson (according to RIT's Housing website). I didn't show my roommate's side of the room because she was in the process of packing up for break, but on the side I didn't show there was also a minifridge with a microwave on top that we both used.
