Old TV Console Gets Extreme MCM Makeover Extreme DIY Furniture Makeover | Building an Angled MCM Base Hey guys! Follow along to see how I make over this old TV stand that I found on Facebook Marketplace. We'll show you how we prep the piece, remove the existing finish using chemical stripper, sand down the wood, restore and refinish the original wood, use a paint sprayer, as well as build a curved MCM-style base with tapered legs.
