You both stand at the middle of a broken stone bridge. You look around you. Nothing, as expected. But he seems scared of the jump. It's not even that far- a child could make it. "Hey? What's the hold-up?" He looks down. Pitch black. "...Nothing." He jumps. He makes it, of course. Something unsettled him. You've been to mystic forests and the far-flung reaches of the End, even the deepest recesses of the Nether, but this place... it terrifies him. You don't see why. You jump. You make it, of course. You both cross through another one of the rift-doors. A hallway, with three paths. Ahead, another door. You walk ahead of him as he whispers, "thirty-seven..." You walk into the crossing, and to your right, three large black spots obscure your vision. "Hey, uh... What're those?" You ask, nervously. He tenses. He grabs your arm and pulls you back. "What did you see?" He asks, hurriedly. "A few black spots, like something was blocking my vision..." "Don't look at them. Don't stare." "Why?" "They stare back." He runs through the door, hurriedly, muttering "Thirty-eight..." on his way. You follow behind. You look to your right. An eye peers out of the blackness.
