I just picked up a new EAP783 off Amazon for $500 and wanted to show it off since I haven't seen any other videos on it. In this video I show off my network setup. Run EAP690 HD WiFi 6e Speedtests to an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Alienware R15 which both have WiFi 6e compatibility. Unbox the EAP783. Hook up and adopt the EAP783 to my network and update it's firmware. Then set up a LAG between the EAP783 and the SX3206HPP its linked to. Next run WiFi 6e speedtests to the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Alienware R15 again. Then swap out the Alienware R15's Wifi 6e card for a WiFi 7 card and run another speedtest to compare it to WiFi 6e. Lastly compare all the speed tests to the Alienware R15's 2.5Gb Ethernet Card. Network Equipment: Fidium Fiber ONT provisioned for 2Gb up/down (Fastest Package they offer in my area.) TP-Link Omada Gear: Router - ER8411 Controller - OC300 10G switches - SX3206HPP x2 1/10 gig Core Switch - SG3428XMP 1G Switch - SG2210MP Wireless Access Points - EAP690 HD, EAP783. The entire network runs on a 10G backbone.
