But where is the guest house?? It took us a while to find the guest house where we had to stay. Finally, we were standing right beside the guest house unaware of the fact that the very building was Aishwariya Guest House of Rana uncle. So finally we met Rana uncle and he welcomed us like a family. After refreshing ourselves we planned to explore the surroundings. We were in Lambgaun market, with narrow roads and small shops selling local handicrafts (woven big baskets of Ringaal- Himalayan bamboo). After exploring the vibrant local market and enjoying the sip of hot ginger tea we followed a small river with crystal clear water. On our way, we met a small village girl, Muskan carrying some pounds of wheat on her back. Trust me she was very beautiful. Finally, we saw a bridge at a distance, the only way that connected the local market Lambgaou and the village right in front. We were very curious to cross the bridge and explore the other side. We saw a beautiful temple with multiple colours and we proceeded towards it. It was the temple of local deity "Mahed Devta". There were a number of Small temples outside the main temple with photos of people. People believed that when a person dies he/she is given shelter right beside their God Mahed. Next to the temple in a field children were playing kabaddi and Panchpatri. Their faces defined what true happiness was. We also joined them and enjoyed the game and the moment we shared with them. We met a local guy who was very curious to know about the government jobs and forms, we had a very lively conversation. The village was very beautiful and seemed like a heaven on earth. Finally, with a heavy heart, we bid adieu to the village and everyone present. Then we started off towards our station the guest house. We were lucky to be the first guest to taste the food they served. As it was the very day they started with their meal service. The aroma of the Himalayan spices emerging from the kitchen of Aishwariya guest house was too mouth-watering including the food they served. The staff members were really cheerful and enthusiastic. Even Rana Uncle was very great and hospitable. He told us about his further plans of introducing mountain adventure activities in Lambgaun which indeed is a very brilliant idea to promote tourism in Devbhoomi Uttrakhand. If ever you visit Lambgaun do visit Aishwariya Guesthouse and enjoy the hospitality and your stay there.
