First look at an Elecraft KH1. Rig is fantastic, but my focus is more on the paddles. We take a look at the rig and take her on-the-air for a QSO with a member of the Long Island CW Club. Great little paddles, but I prefer a little less force. So, I removed the spring from the paddles and replaced it with some foam material. Feels much better to me now. Of course this is just personal preference. At the end I join the Long Island CW Club (LICW) Challenge, and exchange numbers with another club member on the air. This is a very nice little rig that you can take anywhere. The best rig is the one that you have with you when you need it.
