Silky Pocketboy|How to choose the right one

Pocket Boys: https://atcproducts.com.au/product/si... Urban Dictionary for Pocket Boy: Boy that is placed in one pocket for protection and company When you put that sentence in a saw sense... it makes sense. If you put it in a human sense... it just sounds weird lol! But the Pocket Boy's are great for protection and they are good company to have around. They can give the helping hand you need when in the garden or hiking, camping, bush walking, trail bike riding/mountain bike riding, 4wding, just to name a few. Some people miss judge the Pocket Boy's, they think they look like they wont be able to cut much, but once they are in that branch, it feels like a hot knife through butter! Manufactured in Japan by Silky Saws, the Pocket Boy range is affectionately dubbed the Little Giant as it is often used for jobs that a much bigger saw would be used for. PocketBoys are available in different tooth sizes, blade lengths and handle colours. The handle colour is matched to the tooth size. The blades of the Pocket Boys are available in 13cm and 17 cm lengths. PocketBoys are supplied in a perspex carry case that can be clipped to the belt or there is a hole in the handle for a carabiner clip. Red Handle Pocket Boy (Large Teeth): The toughest in the group! If the tree is fresh, green and sappy this is the saw to use. Will cut larger limbs off trees too. Where to use it: Hiking, camping bushwalking, bushcrafting, survivalist, firewood, garden work, fishing on a kayak (clear over hanging branches) mountain trekking, plus more! Black Handle PocketBoy (Medium Teeth): The good ole general pruner. Can't get much better than that! Brilliant for green to harder branches. Where to use it: Hiking, camping bushwalking, bush crafting, survivalist, firewood, garden work, fishing on a kayak (clear over hanging branches) mountain trekking, plus more! Difference between red & black handle: The black handle will cut small branches easier than the red. If you use a large tooth saw on a small branch, it will vibrate, jump and ultimately end up cutting your hand. Silky blades LOVE FINGERS! Blue Handle Pocket Boy (Fine Teeth): Great for pruning smaller branches. The littler teeth pair up perfectly with fibrous materials (bamboo, palms fronds). Perfect for roses as well. Also if you have a customer who goes hunting, this blade size is great at cutting into bone and flesh (sounds gruesome I know). Steering away from the pruning side and hunting side of things! But just pointing out the elephant in the room... OF COURSE... Fine tooth Pocket Boy can be used as a carpentry saw! It will also leave a ridiculously smooth cut! A very handy dandy little saw. Purple Handle Pocket Boy (Extra Fine Teeth): This little guy can do all sorts! I am talking: carpentry, bamboo, PVC pipe, florist arrangements, dead wood, palm fronds. BUT the ultimate beauty about this guy, is he can be used as an alternative to secateurs. Sounds slightly strange, but the extra fine teeth on the blade allows you to cut really small branches. Excellent for those customers with arthritic hands. Yellow Handle PocketBoy CURVE (Large Teeth): Curvi-lious! - Potentially someone's partner in crime! It's one of those very useful tools to have around the garden for small gardening work. If you have a customer who enjoys, camping, hiking even 4wding, this compact, convenient folding saw could be all they need.
