IRAN 🇮🇷 Walking in Bayangan village before the Hezar Daf ceremony Bayangan is one of the cities of Kermanshah province in the west of Iran. This city is located in the Bayangan section of Paveh City. The border city of Bayingan is located 120 km northwest of Kermanshah. The income of the people of this sector is based on animal husbandry, horticulture, and simple labor. Gardening water in the Bayangan district is supplied by the river, deep wells, and springs. All kinds of horticultural products, traditional poultry farming, livestock, and dairy products - which also have an export aspect - and handicrafts, are among the most important products of this region. The people of Bayingan are Sunnis (Shafi'i) and their language is Kurdish, which they speak in the Jafi dialect. During the Iran-Iraq war, Bayingan suffered a lot of damage, 50% of the buildings in this part were destroyed and most of its villages were depopulated.
