Thor Automagic Washing Machine & Dishwasher (1955)

The Thor Automagic Washing Machine was produced in the 1950`s and was a top loading semi-automatic washing machine and a dishwasher. It had an extra tub that was used to wash dishes and crockery etc. It used a belt driven gearbox to turn the wash agitator and then spin dryer and also to pump the water out. The same arrangement was used to pump and spray the water over the dishes to clean them. Capacity: 8lbs Clothes Hot And Cold Fill by choice Vitreous Enamel washtub Aluminium Wash Agitator 600rpm Spin Speed Overflow Rinse and Spray Rinsing Facility 5 Position switch and clutch for washing, draining, spin and rinse, spinning and pump Belt driven gearbox, Direct Drive pump with continuous operation. Comes with a galvanised dishwasher attachment for washing crockery and dishes.
