Tower Ridge Ben Nevis Scotland an Alpine Climb 24th April 2021

Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis gives a brilliant mountaineering day on one of the longest rock climbs in Britain. It was an absolute pleasure to do this in the company of a good friend Andy Cloquet, WMCI and owner of Outdoor Adventure Scotland. We had a nice mix of dry rock, frozen snow and ice, bright sunshine and zero wind. It isn't very often that you hear those words in the same sentence in Scotland!!! The route isn't hard, mostly scrambling, but there is route finding issues and you can get lost. It happens regularly. It is only suitable for experienced mountaineers and climbers, unless you employ an Instructor or Guide to look after you. Then, it is possible in Summer, and with some careful judgement, in Winter.
