Stop using the vignette tool in Lightroom to add depth and focus to your photos - there's a better way! My issue with the vignette tool is that there isn't enough control of where the vignette takes effect and it can look very unrealistic if there are areas on the edge of the frame that aren't dark. Thankfully, there are a couple of other ways we can add that beautiful depth and atmosphere to our edits in Lightroom. Start using the Linear Gradient and the Radial Gradient tools using the Lightroom Mask feature. These provide you with way more flexibility, control and creative possibilities to really help you bring your photos to life. These may be obvious to some, but trust me this video is worth a watch as there are a subtle features within each that some may overlook.
