Chakra Yoga Nidra (from Swami Satyananda Saraswati)

Yoga Nidra (Part 4), Lesson 36 Topic 5, from Swami Satyananda Saraswati's book "A Systematic Course in the Ancient Tantric Techniques of Yoga and Kriya" (c. 1981, 1989 Bihar School of Yoga, c. 2004 Yoga Publications Trust, Munger, Bihar, India). This yoga nidra is read directly from the text (with minimal adaptation). The technique combines physical body awareness with chakra awareness as well as chakra symbol awareness. The timing of the pauses coincides with the durations suggested in the original text. I recorded this nidra to assist my own practice, and have uploaded it to help anyone else who may benefit from a timed audio recording of this powerful guided meditation.
