With the deactivation of the US army Japan Band, I am preserving this video for posterity. This project is near and dear to the hearts of the Soldiers involved in making it. This video was made to mark the 10 year Anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and subsequent Fukushima Disaster, as a show of support and friendship to the people of Japan's Touhoku region. The fantastic piece by Steven Verhelst, "A Song For Japan", is set to images of the US Army Japan Band's support to the Touhoku region immediately following the disaster. The USARJ Band was one of the first military units to respond, providing both tangible aid as well as a human connection and emotional support through music.
