We don't see each other very often and we haven't had the chance to go on a canoe trip together for over two decades! He was back in Canada this summer and asked if I knew a good place to paddle. Something with a bit of whitewater and classic Canadian shield scenery. The French River immediatly came to mind. We spent four beautiful, sunny days making our way down this stunning and historic waterway. We cooked plenty of delicious food over the campfire, fished and swam and even found a secluded lake to explore along the way. On our final night we run into Joe Robinet. We spent some time cliff jumping while Cooper got to play with Joe's new puppy, Wolf.
