In this harvest we show you our Stokes purple sweet potatoes that we started from a sweet potato from last year's harvest. Purple sweet potatoes have a unique taste (some compare it to cake batter), and a definitively unique appearance, and can really add to culinary variety. We have been growing this sweet potato variety for the past three seasons, and we have found good success with both this variety and purple passion (though this has been our preferred purple sweet potato).
