You can utilize DIMM sizes of 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or 32GB DIMMs and speeds of 1066MHz, 1333MHz, 1600MHz or all the way up to 1866MHz. The HPE DL360p Gen 8 accepts two types of RAM. ECC Registered, RDIMMs and Load Reduced, LRDIMMs. You can max out at 768GB (24x 32GB) DDR3 PC3-14900L 1866MHz Load Reduced Server Memory. ECC Registered maxes out at 512GB (16 x 32GB) DDR3 PC3L-12800R 1600MHz ECC Registered Server Memory. What is the reason for only 16 modules will work when maxing out with Registered DIMMs?
