I wanted to make my wife a special box for Christmas that was packed with details without going over the top. Can we make the box really interesting while still being subtle and elegant? I gave it my best shot. Can we make it in 4 days? Watch and find out! (Spoiler alert: I fail spectacularly) In this video, we tackle milling some really pretty walnut, dovetails, a tiger maple veneer, ebony pulls and inlay, miters, trays, finishing, and throw in a couple of dad jokes along the way. There are some techniques here that are a little more advanced but a new, beginner woodworker will still find plenty of useful information.
