Over the last few years my relationship with money has been transformed by spending less and saving more, this has led me to reflect on things I did in the past which I now consider mistakes - so this video was born: Money Mistakes I Made In My 20s! I know a lot of you may have joined me for makeup related content from my early days on YouTube, and therefore my current content may not be exactly what you hoped for from me, so I am trying to think of ways I can incorporate maybe elements of that into my current content behind the scenes right now. As YouTube is not my job, the content I create is often a reflection of what is going on in my life whilst trying to offer some sort of value a viewer can take from the content - and right now I'm very passionate about saving and reaching my financial goals, when I buy a house I will probably have some house/decorating content in and amongst personal finance videos, when I FINALLY declutter my wardrobe I'm sure there will be elements of fashion involved as I navigate my changing style as I get older etc - I hope that makes sense and I do hope you will stick around, but I understand if you find the channel might not be for you now I no longer talk solely about makeup. Over the last few years, I've come to the realisation that whilst a certain level of material things do add to your life, more stuff will not necessarily make you happier. This realisation hit me when I looked around my home that was filled with stuff (so much so I felt I needed a bigger house) and couldn't say I was particularly happier than when I lived in Spain (in 2008) when everything I had with me fit in one large drawer and a very small wardrobe. These days I prefer to adopt a buy less, buy better approach, with a focus on quality over quantity, removing the clutter, and utilising my money in the best way possible.
