Anyone know the name of this song? The Blue Rags, Rag-N-Roll, Asheville, Jake Hollifield, Bill Reynolds, Aaron "Woody" Wood, Mike Rhodes, Scott Sharpe, New York City, NYC, One Week In NYC,1998, The Rodeo Bar, Continental, Arlene's Grocery, Wetlands, Sam Goody, Times Square, Astor Place, Be My Salty Dog, St. Marks Place, The Cube ..........Blue Rags from Asheville, North Carolina , brought their Ragtime sound to New York City for one week in support of their 1997 album Rag-N-Roll. They played in record stores, bars, clubs, train stations and even on a train. I was lucky enough to have a low level camcorder to document this revival!! Before, I spent a week with The Blue Rags, I saw them open for Ween at Tramps in NYC. This long form video, I call 'One Week In NYC', documents the band as they navigate through NYC bringing their folk, punk, Rag-N-Roll revival to the city.
