Antique GE Brass-Blade Fan | Restoration: Motor Rewind, Repaint & Polish

I've worked on countless fans to date, but none have been remotely close to intensity of this fan's restoration. This is an antique 1916 General Electric 12" fan, type AUU, cat. number 34017. Cast iron, brass, copper and steel; this is one ancient hulk of a fan. The fan was in really good physical condition upon acquisition, but after a closer examination, I discovered numerous issues that prompted me to give it a complete restoration, even though I wanted to keep it original. The motor and the speed coil were rewound, the brass parts were polished, and the fan was given a new gloss black paint job. This video is a compilation of the clips I filmed during the restoration. I'm very content with how the restoration turned out! Thanks for watching!
