Certainly the most fun way for youth to obtain their New Hampshire Hunter Education Certification is by spending a week at camp with new friends, eating good food, playing games and making memories! There are around 40 newly certified New Hampshire youth hunters from this camp week and we couldn't be more proud of them! A huge THANK YOU to the Fish and Game Volunteers for spending two days instructing and educating the campers and helping them succeed. Following those first two days of classroom, skills and testing, campers engaged in camp games, a day at South Pond, fishing, swimming and canoeing, a day at the ranges shooting shotgun, rifle and archery and then a morning of competing in the Barry Camp Olympics! Wishing all these new youth hunters the best of luck and cannot wait to hear the stories at camp next year!
