Also uploaded the direct sound file from the Olympus. Towards the end I used the Rode Mic mini with an attached TRRS to TRS adapter cable. FEMALE to MALE. RØDE SC3 iPhone Accessory. Amazon link below. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B... This was a necessary cable adapter to be able to attach the OLYMPUS WS-852 to the RØDE Mic. This made a noticeable difference in quality and the sound was less tinny and with less echo. The sound file was massively louder than the iPhone internal mic and proved to be very sensitive even at extended range. All of this was just done on the basic setting. Obviously there is more scope to improve on the sound quality.
