Introducing the JCPenney Model 0104 Vintage Heavy Duty Sewing Machine @sewwhatseamstress

This video shows how even older sewing machines are threaded, basically, the same as modern ones. The only true difference is the mechanisms inside are predominantly METAL and NOT PLASTIC! THIS sewing machine is a JCPenney Model #0104 and is very colorfully color coded for ease of use. I have even seen some leathers with this machine! Just as with other sewing machines you MUST be sure to use the right size NEEDLE! Sewing thick denim or a lightweight vinyl or leather requires a larger needle, sizes 16, 18, and sometimes a size 20!
