On my detecting trips I sometimes pass by small "pocket" beaches. Are they regularly "cleaned out" by detectorists? Or are they ignored in favor of bigger, more popular beaches? Is there anything interesting in the sand? After 40 uninterrupted years of working, now retired (2023), I detect for exercise, to enjoy fresh ocean air, and afterward to eat a tremendously unhealthy but delicious meal.
