Signed CDs available on https://www.commandermusic.com Based on a real life experience, almost 15 years ago, this highly satirical song and video is about what happened when an over eager border patrol agent ignored that every family member had valid visas, and all other documents proving their right to be in a country, when returning to the country of residence after a road trip to a neighbouring country. When stopping for a routine control at the border, one tiny piece of paper had fallen out of the passport of one of the minor siblings, but the valid visa was still in the passport. The immigration officer clearly thought Norway was some kind of 3rd world country, ignored the valid visas everybody had in their passports, the fact that The Chief's dad was a Flight Captain for a major airline (and wouldn't risk doing anything illegal due to his pilot license), and that everybody in the family spoke the language fluently. The immigration officer leaned over the desk and said, slowly, as if talking to someone with serious cognitive issues: "You Have To Go Back To NOOOOOOORWAY." VIDEO AND AUDIO CREDITS: The song is from the new album, "Berit, Vol. 2," released in July 2020, the album was recorded at home, using PreSonus Studio One Professional home recording studio, Audix microphones, Ibanez guitars and Yamaha piano. The album was engineered by The Commander In Chief and co produced by her and her manager/mom, Elisabeth Hilltout (who was executive producer). The Commander In Chief (Berit) as herself in the video, also doing all main vocals and guitars. Berit's siblings: Lars William Hagen: grumpy border patrol agent and the one doing all voice acting + background vocals. Nicole Hagen: border patrol supervisor and the one creating Berit's patriotic hair style. Nicole is an A level Drama student graduate. Video producer/director, filming and editing + Berit's make up: Berit's mom/vocal coach/human Swiss army knife; also known as "The Manager" - Elisabeth Hilltout. FLAG TEAM: Berit, Lars William, Nicole and "The Manager" took great care to ensure that the huge, flag pole size flag used as a backdrop NEVER touched the ground, honouring the sacred rule of never disrespecting the flag. The video was filmed somewhere in the Cotswolds, England, on the hottest day in 200 years, with around 35 degrees Celsius in the shade, doing all the acting in the steaming sunshine. How Berit survived wearing the heavy, Norwegian wool sweater (thank you to her grandma in Norway for knitting it!) and Norwegian ragg socks, without fainting, is one of the great wonders of the world. The genuine Norwegian food: Kvikk Lunch chocolate, Kaviar, Goat cheese and Solo drinks were delivered by the Scandi shop in London. #summerhit #immigrant #norway
