What's great about this system is of course the awesome ship you can buy, but also scrapping them for Storage Augmentation Modules and nanites. This is the perfect No Man's Sky Storage Augmentation Farm. I have a video on the true cost to fully upgrade a ship, and with this method you're going to be saving BILLIONS of units, and it will only take you about 30 minutes. The sheer amount of these exotic ships flying in makes it a really fast paced system for scrapping ships and getting those Sweet Sweet Storage augmentations. To get this ball rolling, land at the space station, hop out of your ship and reload your autosave. This is a popular location so be sure to disable your multiplayer so you get all those beautiful ships to your self. Make sure you have an empty slot for an extra ship. You can only own 6, so you'll either have to scrap one you currently own to get down to 5, or just not have 6 yet! I HIGHLY recommend opening plenty of space up in your inventory so there is room for the scrap to go. If not, you won't be able to salvage the ship. After the reload you've got 45 seconds before the ships roll in. Usually you'll have 1 to 2 exotics roll in on the first wave. Grab one as fast as you can so you can scrap it and get to the next one before it takes off. This system also has a third exotic that can be pretty quick to roll in. I recommend scrapping the first 2 as fast as you can, then organizing your inventory, selling the scraps you get, and carefully listening for the roar of an exotic ship coming in. They have a distinct growl when they land. If the third ship lands, scrap it, other wise hop in your ship and back out to create an autosave, then reload. Don't forget to hop in and out of your ship first!!! To save some time, you can always skip the third ship and just move on. Again you'll have 45 seconds before ships start landing, so you have plenty of time to sell off your scraps or S-Class modules. Be careful not to sell your augmentation units! Each one of these ships will cost between 5 and 12 million dollars, and once salvaged, will net you 70% of what you paid in scraps, an S Class module, as well as 2 Storage Augmentation units. You can also dismantle the Launch System Recharger on these ships before you salvage them to get 3 antimatter, a magnetic resonator and a wiring loom. It wont affect the price of the salvage, so you might as well. Cheaper exotics are the better deal in this method, as you lose less money but get the same items, But it honestly doesn't matter that much. Over the course of about 30 minutes, we were able to gather 30 Storage Modules, and 7500 Nanites. We started with 2 Billion 940 million, and ended with 2 Billion 907 million which means we spent 33 million total or about 1.1 million per storage module. This is HUGE! The worst exotic you can get will have 15 storage slots and 4 tech slots. You can fully upgrade it to 48 and 21, which would take 50 Storage Augmentation Modules. 55 million and an hour of time drastically beats needing BILLIONS. Plus, you can fully upgrade an exotic with modules, then scrap them for over 130 million.
