As we begin Black History Month, I wanted to spend this month speaking about some of my favorite movies either starring, or centered around black people and the black experience. The first movie that came to mind for me was Get Out. If you haven't been able to tell from some of my other videos, I am a huge Jordan Peele fan, and Get Out is largely responsible for that. This is a movie that took the world by storm, first seemingly due to word of mouth and its highly entertaining synopsis, but after first watch, left many realizing they just witnessed a masterpiece.
