I couldn’t handle the pain that I didn’t post my tribute to him anymore, I felt like today was the day that I finished the tribute and posted it. My sweet Ridgway… the gorgeous miracle and spitting image of Winter herself. Gone. Forever. I was working when I found out. In a location where access to the internet and being on my phone in general was hard, so when I saw that post that he was gone all I felt was disbelief and denial about what I just read. I feel so heartless from how little I’ve cried over this tragedy, I definitely have cried but most of it was for an entirely different reason. It seems like I’ve been too busy to cry over this death which makes me feel like a terrible person. As I was looking through songs to use, I rediscovered Celie’s tribute video for Winter which caused me to get that spark, telling me that it would be a perfect fit. Her video for the world’s inspiration, and my inspiration video for that same dolphins precious spirit. I will miss Ridgway to no ends, he lived an awesome two years, but it should’ve lasted so much longer. Ridgway left behind so many people who loved him, as well as a bunch of his dolphin family.
