Welcome back again today good friends for our from scratch massive food preservation day! That's right we process and home can from scratch SO MUCH strawberry jam. We cook from scratch blackberry jam. On this from scratch massive food preservation day we make homemade vanilla, activate our newest water kefir grains, and get a new scoby going with green tea kombucha! Along with all of these Massive Food Preservation Day projects from scratch, we additionally resurrect our two well-loved bread machines!! Remember those from my 100-year-old farmhouse and then for 4 years at the forest house?! Oh boy, on this big cooking from scratch day the beloved bread machines are back in home cooking action while we make 4 homemade loaves of banana bread from scratch! You would think this would be more than enough for our massive food preservation day, and believe me, it was a good full day of kitchen cooking projects. However, we get BONUS POINTS when I get a surprise deal on 40 pounds of strawberries on the way home from church the next day.
