Intro to Grounds and Grounding from an EMC/EMI Perspective: "We Need To Talk About Ground"

"We Need to Talk About Ground" -- James Pawson, Unit 3 Compliance Originally delivered @ Rohde & Schwarz "Demystifying EMC 2020", Silverstone, UK Connect on LinkedIn --   / james-pawson-unit-3-compliance   Come and find me at Unit 3 Compliance -- https://www.unit3compliance.co.uk This talk was originally presented at the Rohde & Schwarz "Demystifying EMC" event at Silverstone Racing Circuit in the UK in February 2020. For those of you who haven't been to one of these events, well, I highly recommend it. There's lots of great technical content related to EMC being presented in a fantastic manner. I received many requests from those who could not attend, and from those who were listening to other talks on the day, to make the slides available post event. I'm not into "Powerpoint Karaoke" i.e. lots of text on slides and presenting by just reading the slides. Instead I like to have an image and to talk about it with the audience. This makes for a great presentation but a pretty poor experience when reviewing the slides afterwards. So, to remedy this, I've recorded a version of the talk I gave on the day. It's not exactly the same as I'm not reading from a script but that's how I roll. I hope you find this useful. If you've been affected by any of the material in this presentation or you want to ask any questions then best to contact me through LinkedIn or my website. Feel free to drop a comment below but it might take me a while to get back to you! ;) All the best, James
