Just when you thought this series couldn’t get any better we bring out a fourth course… welcome spaghetti-western psychedelic rockers Mantis (consisting of: Elis Penri on vocals and acoustic guitar, Eric Fraser on electric guitar, Cisco Costa on drums and Ynyr Elward-Jones on bass) in collaboration with artistic power couple Korina Tsioni on vocals & traditional Greek spoken word and Loz Coz ripping the hell out of that trumpet! This song is so powerful as it really digs into the roots of eastern and western influences. Korina’s earthly performance of a poem written by K.P.Kavafis brings a sense of introspective emotion which is accompanied by nostalgic Celtic harmonies of Elis Penri. This piece really calls to a cosmic sense with ballsy riffs and country western nods that get you wanting to ride horse back into the unknown sunset!
