What makes him great with zilean is his patience, positioning and good bomb placement. He plays teamfights aggressive, zilean players tend to play teamfight really safe in the back, like a janna or soraka, since you don't want to blow your ult on yourself. But MagiFelix is constantly looking for plays, engages, zoning bombs forcing the enemy to split and giving speed boost to allies for engaging/disangaging. I tried to cover his playstyle in this video and his runes.
