Yes it's an envelope filter, but it's so much more. I love the option to sweep between low and high pass filters, the "auto wah" does exactly what the funk demands, and with the addition of presets on this latest "V3" edition of Spatial Delivery, you can have it set up to do all these things in one pedal. The most musical aspect of the pedal for me thought, has to be the sample and hold. As you'll hear in the video, it gets me straight to making music and discovering new things which is the most important aspect of any piece of gear I play.
