We recently attempted to put a jump gate into action for our akbash livestock guardian dog, Blue. Blue is a big dog and I made the hole a little too small. He wasn't able to squeeze through to effective get in and out of his dog feeder area. I revisit the jump gate and make the necessary modifications to put it into service. Once training our akbash to use the dog feeder, he can feed free-choice without concern of the sheep getting into his food.
