Kayak Fishing UK| Inshore fishing at anchor|

In this video me and my good friend Simon head out on the kayaks. The fish mobile is still poorly so a local paddle it had to be! After a quick recap on how to seal launch we intended to try reach a wreck about 1 mile out the tide had other plans though. After realising the wreck was not an option we headed for some reefs to try and anchor up. After a few minutes we realised the flow was too strong where we had anchored. The wind and tide together was making the water rip through. So we pulled anchor and headed even further inshore and dropped again near a very close in wreck. So close we could hear the band at the local pub. Baits were being taken from the off with some health fat whiting and customary dogfish but a switch from worm to squid saw me land my first kayak caught ray, a male thornie of approx 5lb. Chuffed with my ray the light started to fade and the dogfish increase so we called it a day. Learning more every time I fish from the yak. Hope everyone enjoyed. Cheers
