Skiing the Aussie Couloir, Joffre Peak

This is by far the craziest thing I did on my skis. Calvin and I went to ski from the top of Joffre Peak. This famous couloir is on every BC backcountry skiers list and we picked this sunny day in late April to ski it. We left Vancouver around 4:30AM, passing through beautiful Sea to Sky Highway and Pemberton to arrive at Joffre Provincial Park. We got to ski across one of the most Instagrammed lake in Canada to finally boot up Aussie Couloir. The whole trip took 9.5 hours car to car. I took a fall mid couloir which resulted in my ski sliding down about half way down the couloir. Luckily I was able to find my ski lodged into the snow near the bottom.
