Visiting the Abandoned Hotel Belvedere (Dubrovnik, Croatia)

Just outside of Dubrovnik lies this giant ruin of once 5-star hotel Belvedere. Built in 1985 it flourished during only 6 years. It was damaged in the Croatian War of Independence and then it was used as shelter for Croatian refugees. It's been abandoned since then and has top listings as one of the worlds creepiest abandoned hotels. It's really worth visiting and I will never forget the experience. The hotel has a new owner and there are plans to tear it down and build a new luxury hotel. Maybe this will happen soon?
