Proverbs 18:21 talks about the power in our words. John 1:1 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made." Psalm 33:6 says "By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host." Isaiah 55:10-11 says "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." Psalm 138:2 says "for you have exalted above all things your name and your word." We as the children of God are called to live in this power of words. We as children of God are empowered by the Holy Ghost to prophesy and speak life, healing and deliverance. Because words through the power of the Holy Ghost can do such mighty works, the enemy always tries to make us dumb and screams in our ears to shut up and remain silent. He makes us look at our circumstances as if they were too big. But in reality, a word of prophecy from God is the answer to it. We do not speak on our own authority but just as Jesus said, "For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak." John 12:49 Today, God, our Father, calls us to speak into places that need healing, deliverance, life where no one ever cared or dared to speak; in our own lives as well as others. Isaiah 61, Ezekiel 37, proclaiming and prophesying, He is looking for someone to do it so that when we speak, He can display His glory. And so the LORD says to us today "Prophesy son of man! Prophesy!" And when we speak, He will make it come to pass; "who confirms the word of his servant and fulfills the counsel of his messengers," Isaiah 44:26
