4K Skiing - Finding My Limit on Blackcomb's STEEPEST Terrain!!

To be able to wake up on a Monday morning, the first day of my weekend, walk out the door and drop straight into some of the best skiing I've ever done is an insane experience that I only ever dreamed about as a kid! I'm so lucky to be here and be able to do this stuff, and I never take it for granted. On this particular day, we'd been blessed with a great snowfall over the weekend and I was itching to really find my limits on what I can ski- and maybe collect some powder turns along the way! Having skied my whole life in a resort that never truly gets steeper than black diamond difficulty, moving here and seeing what insanity the terrain here has to offer has been super exciting and inspiring to my skiing. Compared to when I arrived and first started skiing here, my confidence has gone through the roof when it comes to the ridiculous terrain that I'm faced with almost every lap. Things that felt unskiable to me now just seem fun, and fun they really are! The most fun that can be had is right on the edge of your comfort zone, pushing your limits but as safely and controlled as possible. That's what I was exploring on this day, and I certainly did get what I was hoping for. I have 2 or 3 more ski videos to release after this one, then I'll be back to biking for the summer season. I wasn't even expecting to film these ski days but I'm so glad I did- I'm sure I'll look back on these clips in years to come and be so grateful I made the effort to do it. This is one of the best videos I've done all year I think and the next one might even be better!
