After working for many years in advertising agencies, Thea decided to combine her love of knitting and cocktails in a second career. She loves to find motifs that look more difficult than they actually are and has a soft spot for cables, small producers, and rustic yarn. Her patterns often feature a modern twist on a classic or vintage silhouette. She pays special attention to individual fit and often includes elements in the designs, plus descriptive notes in the instructions so knitters can adapt each garment to best suit their figure. Thea has published over 200 patterns under the BabyCocktails name, including designs for Laine, PomPom Magazine, Brooklyn Tweed, Interweave, and Ysolda Teague.
