A Close Look At Mid EQ Bands For Voice Over Processing

I take a closer look at the mid-range EQ adjustments while walking through a custom voice-over processing chain. I received a voice-over submission from a voice-over talent using a Sennheiser MKH 416 microphone. It was recorded on a Focusrite 2i2 and captured with Apple’s Logic Pro software. The custom channel strip I created is comprised of Softube’s Saturation Knob, Logic Pro’s Channel EQ, Waves’ Scheps Omni Channel, and Logic Pro’s (DBX Modeled) Compressor. In this video, I describe the specific things that I’m listening for in the mid-range section while applying EQ.
