The chief protagonists were the factory Porsche and Jaguar teams, the former in various team guises and specifications. The cameras were in all the right places to capture the very best of the action, from the hairpin at La Source, to the legendary dip and turns of Eau Rouge. Thierry Boutsen, Derek Warwick, Eddie Cheever, Jochen Mass and Bruno Giacomelli were out to impress, as were Derek Bell and Hans Stuck.
